Beside being known as one of the best left-handed pitchers in Korea, KIA Tigers’  Yang Hyun Jung is also known as Taeyeon’s fanboy. When the girls are performing at KIA Concert couple days ago, he was being hospitalized due to cold. Of course that didn’t stop him from watching the celebration concert. He actually sneaked out from the hospital, rode the ambulance, went to the concert, and then got busted by the coach.

Even though he didn’t get to meet the girls Taeyeon personally because the girls headed back to Seoul right away after the concert ended, he said he’s happy enough to watch the girls’ live performance. Aww, isn’t he such a fanboy or what?

Previously, after KIA Tigers officially won the 2009 season he said, “Team’s winning is all thanks to SNSD’s Taeyeon”. Yang Hyun Jung said that the team’s as well as his excellent performance this season was because of SNSD’s Taeyeon.

Taengoo's message

He said that he had been a SNSD Taeyeon fan since a long time ago, and in April, he had received Taeyeon’s signature through a sports reporter.

Yang Hyun Jung said “Although I wish to get the signatures of all the members, I received Taeyeon’s signature before a match” and “She wrote a message for me with the signature wishing to see a 10 victory”.

He also said that “Taeyeon’s message gave me strength for the season, with 12 victories and 5 loses, and an average of 3.15 points for this season. It is my best season since I debut” as well as “I want to thank SNSD Taeyeon.”

Unlike Yang Hyun Jung, a fan got to see the girls after the KIA Concert. The lucky fan saw them stopping at a rest area.

“… Then when I parked my car I saw the girls getting off the van. They were wearing something looking like pajamas and they covered themselves with blankets. Taengoo was wearing a cute skirt. I took out my Genie album to get ready to get autographs. They went wandering about the place covered in those blankets it was too cute I was dying you guys would die too if you saw that! kekekeke Then they went into a restaurant but I didn’t follow them because I wanted to let them relax they must be tired. But saw Taengoo eating ramyun it’s just too cute kekeke. Seohyun Yuri stayed in the van and didn’t come out. The girls bought some chocolate pistachio ice cream from the shop and I watched Taengoo eat the ice cream akkkk kekekeke. I said hello to Sica and she answered me... then by the van Sica climbed on the van hood then started to horse around rocking it! I thought only kkab yul did that kekekeke Hyoyeon was sitting on a bench so I went to her and said hello, I asked her why Sunny was missing and she said Sunny had a schedule. The manager soon came and interfered and told me I could only get one autograph so I got one from Taengoo. The manager was very watchful, only few people there got autographs”

LOL. Why every SNSD fan accounts always have Jessica being… random adorable and the managers being scary ~overprotective~?

The first video I watched with SNSD, with no trouble

Basically, the video talks about the VIP premiere of Rain’s movie, Ninja Assassin, in Seoul. Overall, the video just talked about Rain and the many notable celebrities that attended the premiere..had a tough time making out the chinese names for the celebs, all I got was SNSD and Lee Hyori lol. But on to the part about SNSD:

Sunny basically just said the girls were excited to see Rain’s chest. Tiffany and I think Sooyoung, were the ones who tried to cover her mouth. Then Tiffany basically said that a lot of girls like/want (sorry this translating business is a tad weird for me) Rain’s body and that its really nice and also a result of his hard work, just like the picture *points to it*

If you’re a Soshified member, you probably have noticed that now SSF has more than 50,000 registered members. That number means Soshified is now the largest international site for any specific K-pop artist. Congrats to Soshified, btw. But how about the Korean fan-cafes?

It’s been revealed that SNSD’s fan-cafes in two most popular Korea portal sites, Daum and Naver, are both the biggest among fan-cafes for idol girl groups. What surprised me is, apparently their Daum fan-cafe is now even bigger than most of Korean boy bands’ out there. Number wise they are only losing to DBSK’s and Big Bang’s! :O Seems like I have underestimate the number of Korean S♥ne…

Daum fan-cafes might have free registration and what not, but it’s not easy to make an account in Daum fan-cafes. To register to Daum you need to have Korean social security number, Hanmail account, and they will even make a phone-call confirmation to verify the account. So I guess the number of Daum fan-cafes’ members can be a pretty legit way to see how many fans each idol groups has. Here’s the top 5 largest Daum fancafes of Korean Idol Groups:

I remember DBSK’s fan-cafe, Yuaerubi, used to have the famous 800,000 registered members… but now it “only” has about 790,000 members. Does anybody know why the numbers are decreasing?

That’s the new name fans have given for the girl group pairing of SNSD and KARA.

We’ve all seen the close relationship SNSD has with Kara, from being mentioned in their “thank yous” for their album, to hanging out with each other. Despite all the “competition” they’ve had on stage, the girls all maintain a pretty close friendship.

Recently, Nicole’s mom’s ramyun shop has garnered a lot of attention, with the many celebrity appearances at the restaurant. Located in Kangnam, SNSD is one of the many celebrities that drop by for a quick eat. Even their signatures are on display! Shows how supportive the girls are They even dropped by with Nicole before.

I’m sure we’ll definitely see more SoKa action soon, as for now…here’s some older moments!

So remember how there was a rumor going on about how SNSD went to Japan for a photoshoot? One thing we know for sure is that snsd did go to Japan…for what, I don’t think anyone knows for sure yet. Wearing the white marine uniforms, the girls performed ‘Tell Me Your Wish’, ‘Gee’, and ‘Chocolate Love’ on today LG Mobile World Cup 2009 event. Interesting performances, I must say. There’s a big dance blunder on ‘TMYW’ as the girls had no idea they’re perfoming the remix version of the song (everyone is confused and Sooyoung had to pull Taeyeon down LOL).

Both Seohyun and Yuri have all passed the last exams for the 2010 admittance to DongGuk University. They managed to get a place in the 2010 intake for the acting major despite the 10.67:1 ratio for that course. Congrats girls!

It was reported earlier that Yuri had scored a place in the theater department in ChungAng University, which is Sooyoung’s school. Yuri haven’t decide whether to go to ChungAng or DongGuk. Just in case you forget, Yoona is attending DongGuk University.

Oh boy, it seems like Yuri has to choose between Sooyoung and Yoona (+ their Seobaby)…
It must be one tough decision to make. Even I can’t decide which one I ship more, the gag couple SooRi or the triplets SeoYoonYul.
