Well they’re coming back!  Damn, if I were SooYoung, I might’ve pushed Hyoyeon all the way down to the floor, even if we were already on top of the stairs… I mean, it’s Park Ji Heon of V.O.S.… *cries* but he’s married! I like how they automatically call Jessi an ahjumma, they probably already know about her so they don’t bother to pay attention :p On the other hand, Jessica doesn’t care about what they know, she’s more worried whether or not she looks old lol

Okay, back on topic: Five members of SNSD volunteered to work at Starbucks on November 19th. >>Jessica,<< Tiffany, SooYoung, Seobaby, and Hyoyeon  worked to raise money for a children’s charity at the Starbucks cafe and even walked around to promote their cause. SNSD “loves dem keeds!” and worked from 10:00 to 17:00, a seven hour shift! Because of their popularity, their fans supported their cause and they were able to raise tons of money for the organization. I’m sure the fans didn’t mind the 30-60 minute wait for their cup of crack freshness!
Anyway, I was just informed that MBC filmed the girls at work and will air the edited parts on November 30th, two days from now. I wonder how this will compare to the Mnet’s Il Il Cafe (Charity Cafe Event) thing that SNSD did with Olympic swimmer, Park Tae Hwan on January 05, 2008… Oh well, we’ll find out shortly.

I wonder where the hell they are… I know that Park Ji Heon was too busy making a baby and living his married life *cries some more*, Kim Kyung Rok made a single and an album earlier this year, and Choi Hyeon Jun last year was >>busy making some Rain some good music<< for once. Supposedly they’re due for a comeback soon now that they’ve left Empire Entertainment… But makes me wonder why they were on Chinchin on 2009603…

Anyway, a few SNSD members (especially SooYoung) have big crusheson V.O.S. The trio is pretty close/cool with the girls cuz they’d sing their songs in different shows or talk about the girls. They even made a parody of one of their own songs (I forget which one) but changed the lyrics to make fun of TaeYeon’s height! Too bad Youtube took them all down >:[ Below is a cut from a very funny segment off of SNSD’s show, Factory Girl Mobsta Girl. If I had found the whole clip, you could reminice on SooRi fangirling LOL

Taeyeon recently went to her parents’ optical shop. By the looks of it, Taeyeon is getting another pair of glasses. Even though the person who took these pictures has a creepster status, yay for catching the little kid leader there. It’s really sweet of her to visit her parents despite her busy schedule.

SNSD made it the top 10 of Melon’s Top 10 Music Awards! Yay

Here’s the list of nominees thanks to Heartface @Allkpop:

The Top 10 includes: 2NE1, 2PM, 8Eight, Davichi, Brown Eyed Girls, SNSD, Super Junior, Kara, K.Will and G-Dragon. K.Will is the only solo singer and only 3 out of the 10 are non-idols. No surprise there.

The awards show will be held on December 16th at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. This time, we sure have a lot more to look forward to, since the SM crew will be present as well – as far as we know.

With these 10 artists, Melon will open a poll for Artist of the Year and allow voting until December 13th. So go vote for your favorite!

One of 2009’s new girl groups, T-Ara, is having a comeback with a new (mini?) album this December. But it looks like after two members leaving and adding three in, they wanted a fourth one- Yoona!

Haha just joshin’ of course Yoona wouldn’t leave the Don’s side. Are you kiddin’? Do you know what kind of process you have to go through and what kind of life you’d be living afterwards? Yuri and SooYoung can’t protect her forever!

Okay, I’ve been a fan of >>T-Ara<< since I heard they were supposed to be this year’s SeeYa and Davichi. So of course that got my attention right away! They furthered my interest when I heard their song for the Cinderella Man OST.

You can probably already tell why I fell for them lol they’re just my style (of music)! Too bad they broke up :T  Not that the new T-ara is bad now, but they’ve stopped doing this style and of course, moved on to the second phase of Kpop- no longer using real vocals. As you can see from the teaser for their upcoming single…

Though I gotta admit, they did pretty damn good job in their second MV/single after the member change in their group. It’s freaking good! I love it when really vocal-centric groups can make something upbeat and catchy and still use the same strong vocals (which is why I love SeeYa and Davichi lol). This song is what’s permanently gonna keep T-ara in competition with the already top girl groups of this generation. Though their debut (with the song Good Person)and the days that lead up to it were highly anticipated due to their pretty faces, young ages, and reported strong vocals- Gojimal (Lies) was their first official market sold single and it did quite well.

Some of you may recognize two girls, JiYeon who was with Davichi and SeeYa (post-Nam Gyuri) and HyoMin who is in Invincible Youth with Sunny and Yuri. Those two, along with EunJung are the three original members of T-Ara.

SNSD takes a lesson from top actress/model, Jun Ji Hyun in the wild chicken dance to sell their product. What is the wild chicken? Well, it’s a serious of crazy, weird, and uncoordinated danc moves that come together to form a sexy but super whacky routine.

Not a quite popular pairing, but hey, they used to share ‘deep conversations’ all night long when they were rooming together. Or at least that what the girls claimed.

SPAO is giving away free calendar of SNSD for those who spend more than 70,000 won at the shop. This is how the calendar looks like:

The girls look awesome as always, if not even hotter than usual. But what interesting is, fans have speculated that the pictures used in this calendar were for the failed-to-release song before Gee. As you can see, the girls’ hairstyle and hair color indicated that it was an old, most likely taken before >>Gee teaser<<, photoshoot.

Back then SNSD was supposed to comeback from their long 9-months-hiatus on November 2008, but was delayed in last minute due to copyright problem of the title song. According to Isak the song was a remake of Duffy’s Mercy (I wonder how the SNSD’s version sounds like…). You may recall that there was a rumor about how the MV had back dancers, and one of the back dancers revealed that they’re wearing plaid clothing for the video. Hmm… I guess it’s safe enough that those pictures were indeed taken for the song that SM failed to release before Gee.

I’m not sure whether I really like this concept or not. Some pictures turned out great, but the some others are just… a bit off. I guess things might have been very different if the girls made a comeback with this concept + ‘Mercy’ remake instead of the glorious colorful skinny jeans + ‘Gee’ combo. Well, things might have been very different if the girls if they made a comeback from their long hiatus with anything but ‘Gee’.

Apparently on this day, the sujuboys did a fan sign events and the girls will do one on November 27th, so Korean Sones, go for it!!!

Ahh our girls’ fashion so cute. YoonA’s boots are super popular in Vancouver atm, you CANNOT walk into a shoe store without seeing them on display. Practically every girl (but me) owns a pair. I liked Seobaby’s shirt, isn’t that the charity shirt? Tiffany… still not digging her hair, but her outfit is cute. Reminds me of cowgirl… check out those heels haha, made her equal heights w/the others. SooYoung, her sharp haircut and outfit made her look really smart, you think !?

Speaking of SG Wannabe… hehe it’s time to share! I’ve been quite in love with their latest (6th) album. They’re the male version and the makers of SeeYa (a female trio I’m always showing off here lol). Like SeeYa, they lost their leader (due to a ’scandal’ but I won’t elaborate on that cuz you probably don’t care haha) and gained someone awesome (not that Dongha was bad).

If you watched Yoona and Kwon Sang Woo’s drama, Cinderella Man (crap, I still gotta write a review post…), then you would have heard this song often:

But now that I’ve brought it up… if you have the chance to watch a drama, watch this. Don’t watch that silly Boys Over Flowers drama. I’m telling you right now, even the OST for Cinderella Man was better than the Boys Over Flowers drama, nevermind its crappy acting and 2 OSTs. So don’t listen to Cindy, listen to me! Plus, you’ll be supporting the wonderful and famous cast, and our very own Yoona. I’ll tell you right now, I did not watch this drama for Yoona (sorry!) so I’m not being biased. Just watch it :p
